I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Kirker Automotive Finishes for the help that was supplied to me when I needed it. I heard of Kirker paints from a friend at the same time I was building my 53 Chevy hard top. He showed me a color chart and said the prices were great. He was right.

What he didn't say was how good the service was. When I had questions I called www.smartshoppersinc.com and they gave me a phone # to Kirker. I spoke to a customer service rep who was so helpful it was unbelievable. I am not a pro painter at all but it came out great as you can see in the pics.

The car is a 53 Chevy Belair hardtop with a 350/350. I built a custom rear with air-ride. The front is a Mustang II with bags. I did wide white walls, skirts, lake pipes, 2 Holley 94's, smoothed the hood etc. the car looks perfect.

I drive it all the time. My wife and I have put many 16-hour round trips on this hot rod. It gets thumbs up from the old ladies to the young kids. Not too long ago we drove it to Billetproof in Ocala, Fla. It was the first show ever in the state for Billetproof, so I had to make the 8-hr drive. I was proud. The people were standing around my car taking pics and asking questions. It was very cool.

Months have gone by since the show and I still get email from people asking me about the car. Of course, the paint is the main topic because it glows so bright. I tell everyone about Kirker paints and www.smartshoppersinc.com.

Thanks for everything, hope you like my lowrider pics.
