1971 Ford F250 Camper Special

The F250 Camper Special was built during the slide-in camper craze of the late 60's /
early 70's. The CS came with a larger cooling system, sliding rear window, oil pressure
gauge, ammeter, 70 amp-hr battery, long arm west coast mirrors, and extra camper wiring
harness. My truck came with a 390 cid V-8, C6 auto transmission, dual fuel tanks (in cab
tank removed) and bed side tool box.

I didn't use a clear and really didn't need to. This single stage can go on very thick lending itself to reach a great
shine by wet sanding and buffing. I wasn't satisfied with the shine I was getting using a buffer so I did the entire truck
by hand, 3 times using various "cuts" of compounds. Very satisfied with the results. The truck was painted in
2013. The finish has held up great!
