I wanted to let you know that I really like the Black Diamond basecoat as well as any I ever used.

I must say it is very user friendly and really looks good in the sun. Very deep with the 5 split coats of clear on top. A lot of extra work but well worth it. For the stripes I used a Nason black that I had on hand. They were taped-off and sprayed after the basecoat, then cleared with the rest of car. I enjoy the old classics and usually restore about one a year. Untill this job I usually used Matrix base coat. No more, as this performed better at a big difference in price. So again, thanks.
