2007 Mini  Cooper S

Paint at Home Guy, Rio Rancho, NM

This was a copart car for my daughter. She
wanted it painted Sublime Green and I
thought, what the heck, everyone will see
her. Did the job in my garage with a make
shift paint booth. The paint didn't really
pop until I color sanded it with 1,000 grit
and buffed it out.

I had a lot of orange peel in most areas.
I learned to keep the gun much closer to
the surface. I also added too much
reducer, which caused me to paint in a way
to reduce runs but create orange peel.
