1955 FORD F-100

James Bond (Newport, OR)
I used ULTRA-GLO acrylic urethane cleared with MIRACLEAR II. The body is Viper Red, and I used Platinum Silver Metallic with a little black for shading to airbrush the Ford logo on the tailgate. The primer was PERFECT PRIME 2K Urethane Surfacer.

This project truck was built in honor of James' dad, who used to own a 1955 Ford F-100.

Kirker's paint products are affordable and work just as good as the expensive products. I'm not a painter by trade, but Kirker made it look like I am.

Whether it’s a period-correct antique restoration, a wild custom with a one-of-a-kind color scheme or even just a plain-Jane paint job on a daily driver done on a budget, you should be proud of your work. If you’ve got photos of a vehicle painted with Kirker materials, and would like to share your work for others to see, please click the following link to begin uploading your photographs and information. If your photos are used in our new Virtual Car Show, Kirker will send you a free t-shirt (while supplies last).
