This is my 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom.
Bought it brand new off the showroom floor
almost 4 years ago and have been slowing
turning her into a bagger ever since. Cobra
Longshots Exhaust, Baron's Big Air Kit, and
various other performance add-ons. The big
addition this year was a modification to
install a Harley batwing fairing and stereo
system. I decided to give the whole bike a
fresh coat of paint and have always loved the
matte black rat rod look.

I did about 3 coats of Kirker Hot Rod Black
and it came out beautifully, even though I
was using the infamous Harbor Freight gun.
Couldn't be happier. Easy to mix and spray.
Pretty forgiving and it's hard as a rock.
